Garrion Wood 3 vs 0 Kirkstyle Thistle.

After the turmoil of the last few weeks a new look Kirkstyle took to the field against Garrion Wood.

Thistle still in the getting to know each other stage struggled to make anything more than half chances early on and were on the defensive for most of the game.

Thistle held out until the referee awarded a penalty and Garrion Wood scored to go 1-0

Thistle were forced into two early changes through injury and just couldn't get going only some last ditch defending kept the score at 1-0 and keeper Callum McKinley made save after save to keep it that way till halftime.

The second half was pretty much the same as wave after wave of attack came down the right keeping the lively David Blakley on his toes as the full back often left 2 on 1 but came out with the ball more often than not.

Garrion Wood added two more to go 3-0 up and had a late fourth given offside.

A steep learning curve for Kirkstyle but onwards and upwards.
