Kirkstyle Thistle. 2 vs 2 Bathville Thistle

Kirkstyle welcomed Bathville for today's game at St ambrose.

Early on it was a scrappy game with no clear cut chances but that changed just before the half hour when O'Keeffe released his strike partner Barry Foster who created space to get away from his marker and keep a cool head to chip the advancing keeper and put kirkstyle 1-0 with his fourth goal of the season.

Only a few half chances after the goal with Fisher and O'Keeffe coming closest as Thistle went in 1-0 up at half time.

Thistle were dealt a blow early in the second half as the first of three enforced defensive changes saw Billy Scott come on for Stuart Falvey.

Just on the hour mark and Bathville leveled when a ball was driven in low from the right and fired home for 1-1.

The Kirkstyle heads went down a they had Goalkeeper McKinley to thank for keeping it level when he threw himself at the feet of a Bathville player 6 yards out and blocked the shot when it should have been a goal.

That save gave Thistle a shot in the arm and Barry Foster played in Graeme O'Keeffe who kept a cool head inside the penalty area to slot into the corner and put Kirkstyle back into a 2-1 lead.

Thistle were playing well with Chris Foster and Ian Dingwall pulling the strings in midfield but fifteen minutes from time Bathville leveled again when their left winger cut inside and drilled the ball into the bottom corner past the unsighted McKinley in goals.

With no more chances the game finished
