Yessss!!!! Another great performance & a great result to match. Eaton Socon A placed mid-table in Saturday Div 3 last season (for context, 2 divisions above Motts Reserves & 1 below Motts Firsts), so it's another clear indicator of the level we're now playing at. Great to see Dan Jones back in a King Bill shirt doing us a favour filling at centre back, & great for all of us to eventually get some shirts on at 10.25am - I bet Eaton Socon now feel a little bit silly being changed & doing drills an hour before kick off...perhaps somewhere in between the two opposing approaches is best

... Lots of top performances, with everyone working hard in difficult conditions & some impressive passages of forward play built on the foundation of shape, focus & hard work. MoM today is Dan North: work rate, hold-up play, strength in the challenge & a goal of ridiculous quality worthy of winning any match - excellent job, Dan!

So, that's 2 games, 2 wins, 4 goals for & just 1 against - a pretty good start to pre-season I'd say. Long may it continue. Up the Kings!??
