Kill kickstarted their season on the third time of asking today and in some style.

From the first whistle it was clear Celtic wanted this game and went ahead early on after a whipped corner by Conroy was met by the mallet of Eoin Devlin.

Not long after Kill’s lead was doubled as Conroys Corner caught the wind and went straight in. It was that man Conroy who added the third after keeper Coady’s clearance/ pinpoint ball fell to him in space and he calmly slotted in.

At HT kill were forced into a change as Brady Mullen came on for Richardson and slotted into the heart of defence. The fourth for kill and goal of the game came when Stephen Carroll received the ball from a Whitehall corner and rushed up the field before whipping a ball into the path of Mc Aleese who fired in a beautiful volley. Kills fifth came when Eoin Devlin laid the ball off to Niall O’ Connor who fired in from outside the box. The sixth was a cracker of a header from Brady Mullen from another Conroy corner. The final goal came from a long range shot by Conroy which somehow found its way in.

An resounding victory for Kill.
