Great start to the new league campaign today. A 3-1 win vs Seafordrock.
Stephen Power opened the scoring after a great ball over the top from Sean O Connor. Kill doubled their advantage after a deadly ball from Stephen Carroll resulted in a Seafordrock player with no choice but to put the ball into his own net as Alex Lynch was lurking.
Kill were awarded a penalty midway through the second half when Lynch was tackled from behind. Power missed the first attempt but the ref forced a retake due to infringement. The Kill talisman made no mistake second time around as he slotted bottom left. A good opening day for the red n black.
