New Ash Green Junior U7 Le 5 vs 3 Iwade Herons Rovers

The game today saw Iwade taking an earlier lead at 3 minutes with a great cross from Finley where Cooper took the ball and launched it into the back of the net scoring his first goal of the season. Great breaks were made by both sides with William doing an amazing job in goal to keeping the ball out. New Ash Green kept the pressure on squeezing three goals. Pippa was great in goal and made a cracker of a save winding herself in the process. The second half saw Cooper making his debut in goal where he also did a fantastic job. Freddie made some great breaks and was unlucky not to find the back of the net. Kaden supported the team at the back making some great tackles and Axl helped move the ball up the pitch to create many scoring opportunities. William scored the Rovers 2nd goal bringing the score line to 3-2 as we entered the final quarter. All players entered the last quarter fighting hard and not giving up. New Ash Green scored another 2 goals however Finley responded to this with an Iwade goal just before the final whistle. Well done to Parents player Cooper for a fab goal, working hard in midfield as well as in goal. Also congratulations to Pippa for Coaches player of the week, she made some great saves when in goal despite picking up an injury, as well as doing everything we asked of her on the pitch.
