INCEPCION FOOTBALL CLUB 10 vs 0 Grand

A Grand game everyone was waiting for after several weeks off from league action. Good turn out with 17 players and the game plan was simple. Communicate well, play team football, all out attack from the first whistle and try finish off the game as quickly as we can.

A pleasure to watch as Incepcion played to instructions and romped to a 6-0 lead by half time. Goals were of quality with the entire team putting in extra shifts to support each out with and without the ball, and most importantly, finishing off the team moves.

Second half team talk was to NOT putting our foot off the gas paddle and carry on the onslaught as we need the goal difference to improve. Incepcion started slow but the found the over-drive gear to put in 4 more goals to finish off the biggest win in the club’s and league history.

Notable contributions other then the goal scorers - midfield was marshalled exceptionally well with Captain Loy pulling everything into place leaving the defence holding on together with ease. Pat adding 2 more goals to continue his fine form, and all three departments of the team adding goals to the final score.

This week’s MOM goes to Harold for his hard work providing numerous assists and putting himself onto the score sheet as well. Well done Harold!

This week’s game is a friendly again as our league game has been postponed. See you all on Sat.
