The lads were absolutely brilliant today!! The work rate, the pressing, the teamwork, the passing and the finishing - it was all fantastic to watch! The best thing though was their beaming faces at the end (players & parents). It’s been a long time coming but the confidence is growing every week. ??

We started slow again though and it seemed they had to go 1-0 up for us to wake up and switch on. Thankfully they did and fully deserved the win with goals from Freddie (2) and Elijah. ??

In training we were working on pressing from the front and being brave enough to take the ball out of the air and move forward. The pressing from everyone was brilliant which got us on the front foot more often than not and I thought Elliot won so many balls in th air I lost count! ??

Robbie was this weeks MOM. He made some cracking saves and his bravery shocks me every week. He puts his body on the line for the team every week and his kicking was brilliant as well today. Well done Robbie.??

As I imagine you all are, I am super chuffed after today and will be having a few beers later to celebrate (Hayley has me digging the garden first ???????).
