Hyde United U10 Reds 2 vs 2 Waterloo AFC U10 Warriors

We stay undefeated in a game of 2 half’s in horrendous weather. ??

First half we were brilliant, knocking the ball around really well and were well on top. We took the lead from a corner with a routine we have been working on in training. Elliot getting a flick at the near post from Henry’s corner which just about got over the line. A second followed soon after with a rocket from Cameron flying into the top corner. We had other chances and were unlucky not to be further ahead at the break. ??

Half time we discussed the game being far from over and to keep playing as a team. Unfortunately the weather got worse and we didn’t deal with that as well as Waterloo. We also didn’t pass it around as well as we had in the first. Waterloo got back into it scoring from a bit of a goalmouth scramble before they equalised from a deflected strike. Both teams then had chances to win it but it ended level. ??

Tommy captained us today and awarded Robbie with the captains player. As Tommy said he made some good saves especially in the second half and had a good game. The managers player was Elliot, in the first half especially he was controlling the game, picking some cracking passes out and got his long awaited goal. Well done to both! ??

Lots of good points today and some areas to work on more but we are going in a good direction. Have a great weekend everyone ??
