Hurdsfield Vipers 9 vs 2 Winsford Town U12 Royals

A 2nd dry start to weekend football in a row! After last week the request was simple. More of the same.

We started on fire. Probably the best half of football we've played this season. From kick off Zak long ball broke to Toby, he drove through and Pwen tapped home after the keeper saved. After 9 minutes, Ash picked up a loose pass back and rounded the keeper well to slot home. We were relentless with pressure and Toby again carried forward and Archie fired in low for the 3rd and 2 minutes later Siddarth added a 4th, a lovely shot from the right hand side of the box. By half time we had hit 7. Ash twice playing it across for Owen to be on hand both times to complete his hattrick.

We conceded when we didn't deal with a long ball and again at the back post, but Rory played a great through ball and Oliver smashed a finish into the top corner off the bar for his 1st goal for the club.

A superb half of football with great attitude and play. We played well and had some lovely through balls. A quieter 2nd half but the boys kept a great attitude. Rory knocked the ball on and Ash rounded the keeper for his 2nd before Owen got his 4th, finishing at the back post from a lovely cross from Zak.

The last 2 weeks have shown what the boys can do and its been a pleasure to watch.
