Hurdsfield Vipers 6 vs 3 Tarvin Athletic FC U12 Blu

After a delayed start following last week's cancellation we started our league campaign today at home to Tarvin (reversed fixture).

We started slowly which we can do at times. It was fairly even but some hesitancy in defence and not pushing our baseline up, we found ourselves 2-0 down.

We seemed to gather some composure, Tymon vebtures forward and pounced on a lose ball in the box to be brought down for a penalty. Zak took it and scored on the 2nd rebound! Soon we were level. Tymon again pressed forward and played in Zak who's shot squirmed under the keeper. After coming on Ash turned mid way through their half and lobbed the keeper from 20 yards to lead at the break. Toby with the assist.

2nd half we were much more focused and quicker to the ball. Archie took the ball from the half way line and dribbles forward before hitting it top bins from 20 yards. A rocket.

Franek making his debut came on and after Ash put in a great cross, Franek rose and headed home a debut goal! Ash again wasn't done, took the ball from Owen and lashed a finish in from distance.

We conceded one more before the end but overall a great performance from 20 minutes onwards.

Everyone had an impact. Archie was everywhere from the back, Siddarth worked well and Zak excelled on attack and defence. A whole team performance.
