Davenham Junior Football C 5 vs 2 Hurdsfield Vipers

It seemed like an age since we played some was good to get back on the grass.

We started pretty slowly and lacking any real attitude to grasp the game. We went behind early, a long range hit going over Archie who was deputising for Jack.

The whole 1st half we were 2nd to everything, a habit that we really need to get out of. By half time we were 3-0 down and looking a bit lost. Unlucky with the 2nd which appeared offside.

2nd half we challenged the boys to start the 2nd half as a new game and try and win it. We did get better. A good move down the left saw Rory have a good effort, the keeper parried and Owen followed in to put home after controlling the rebound.

We conceded another 2, not closing people down around the box. We got a deserved 2nd fron Toby who was immense all match. Owen played a one two and then back to Toby who rifled in a shot in off the bar from a tight angle.

There were a few positives from the wnd half, we battled a bit better. Siddarth had some lovely dribbling and Tymon was brilliant at the back, both of which drew appreciation from the opposing coaches.

Shout outs to Archie for deputising in goal, Oliver making his 1st appearance in a tough game but battled well.
