In a true Sunday league game of two halves and two pitches, The Lawns kept the unbeaten run going with a deserved comeback win against The View.

With a much changed team, The Lawns struggled to get going on the proverbial mud bath and went behind after a goal mouth scramble led to The View sticking the ball in.

Lawns looked to recover and were rewarded when Jack finished well from a Ben G through ball.

The rest of the half was back and forth until The View won a penalty which was fortunate to go in after squirming through Craig's legs.

Going in 2-1 down at half time and with the second half moved onto a better pitch, The Lawns started to assert them selves and played much better with some great pass and move work.

This was rewarded when Jack despatched a wonderful free kick into the top left corner to level it up.

The View then won a controversial penalty with a Tom Daley-esque dive, However Craig saved the penalty to ensure justice was served.

The Lawns kept going and in the dying minutes, Chris G played Jack through to complete his hat-trick and send the Lawns home with a hard earned 3 points.

Man of the match: Luke - With a fantastic performance and going non stop for 90 minutes, Luke is a deserved winner.
