The Lawns crashed out of the cup with a lackluster performance against a Romans side who just wanted the game more. Lawns conceded several soft goals and created few chances.

Man Of The Match: Despite the result, Ben G gave a performance that deserved better so is a deserved award.
Manager's thoughts: Overall, I am greatly disappointed with the game. Going in 2-0 down at half time, I thought we were still in the game and had a chance to get something out of it, but second half we did not bother, effort was minimal at best and as such, the scoreline says it all. We did not do any of the simple things well. We were scared of the ball, couldn't string together a run of simple passes and certainly didn't exert ourselves when tackling. We will pick ourselves up and go out next game and do a hell of lot better, that is the minimum I expect.
