The Lawns got back to winning ways with a fantastic team performance against The Flamingos. With a couple of changes from last week, The Lawns started brightly and were rewarded for their work with Jack powering in a header at the back post from a superb Adam Tighe delivery.The Lawns kept the flamingos at bay until a miscommunication at the back lead to Cocky putting the ball into his own net past a helpless Rich. Flamingos forced a string of corners which were defended valiantly. Going in level pegging at the break, Jack had to come off after a knock,with Josh replacing him. Lawns started out organised and disciplined and kept looking for the goal to restore the lead. Craig was denied an outrageous volleyed goal by a superb save by the flamingo keeper,but he was not to be denied and shortly afterwards he bagged his goal with a well taken finish. Adam B replaced Gav in the middle and popped up in the box late on to volley home his first goal for the lawns after good work from Josh on the wing and send the Lawns home with a 3-1 victory.
