It was Helford who started on the front foot and Horden were the masters of their own downfall when they gifted Helford 3 first half goals plus the sending off of Scott Davidson and a penalty miss from Robert Renwick for the home side which went against them. In the second half it was the 10 men of Horden that took hold of the game and with goals from Charlie Salicki Robert Renwick and Craig Harbord, pulled Horden level and when it looked like the points would be shared a mix up in the Horden defence allowed the Helford striker to round the keeper and score what proved to be the winner.
