PCFC U12's 1 vs 1 Hemsworth Miners Welfare U

A Really good game from the lads today in difficult circumstances, overall I am really pleased with everyone's performance today. Today we looked the stronger side throughout the entire game. We were making good progress in the first half with us hitting the post twice. Into the second half, we started off really well with good passing and link-up play which resulted in a good team worked goal. We defensively held our own for the main part of the game stopping every attacking play they had, but a small lap in concentration resulted in their goal. The lad's heads never went down from conceding the goal and from the restart went straight back on the attack and showed great determination, playing well up until the final whistle. The pitch today wasn't the best and I think they utilised it to their advantage as we just couldn't make the ball run or play how we normally would. However, we held our own and the lads should be proud of their performance today. Well done to Coby on his goal and his opposition's Man Of The Match. also well done to Jacob on another solid performance at the back. A special mention to Lucas as he fought for every ball today and looked shattered at the end of the game. A big well done today lads.
