Heddon secured the division 2 league title with a 3-2 win over Hexham Hearts making it 13 games, 13 wins.
In a closely matched encounter Heddon proved they have the ability to dig deep and get the job done.
Missing key men Heddon started sluggish and Hearts had a number of chances but failed to take their chances and the league leaders took advantage of the missed chances.
Neat build up play from Mark Murtagh lead to Sean Hownam rounding the goalkeeper to finish and give the league leaders a 1-0 lead.
1 became 2 after a long clearance from David Wadds fell kindly to man of the match Dan Walker who finished in emphatic fashion to make it 2-0.
Injury to Connor Ballantyne forced a change and Heddon lost their balance at the back which lead to Hearts grabbing one before the break. 2-1.
The second half Heddon showed championship winning qualities with Ross Bailey, Woody and Flem taking control of the midfield.
Heddon made it 3-1 after Dan Walker slid Sean Hownam in who squared for Ross Bailey who arrived like Frank Lampard in the box.
The last couple of minute were made nervy for Heddon after Ramma continues his goalscoring form in the wrong net this week maybe too much Gaffa tape on his calf?
It ended 3-2 to Heddon who clinched the league title with an impressive 100% winning record.
