After nine weeks off due to bad weather Heddon returned with a bang putting 6 past Hexham Hearts in a comfortable 6-0 victory.

Heddon weren't quick out the blocks on a boggy pitch but were efficient in possession and took the lead through an Andy Appleby cross which was deflected in by the Hearts fullback.

1 became 2 with a third goal in three games for man of the moment Alex Burnie. Watch out Jamie Vardy... "Who the fuck is Jamie vardy!! Burnie and walker having a party!!

Bring your champagne and your Charlie!!" Said Alex Burnie in his post match interview.

The third goal came from the spot with Dan Walker grabbing his 18th of the season and 12th consecutive game with a goal. Penalty was awarded for a defender handballing ballaz's header off the line, the referee incredibly didnt send off the lad!

Walker grabbed his second of the game after some very nice build up play with Hownam. - the two lads are working very well together

Goals from Woody and a fine individual effrot from Richy Harrison made it 6-0 a good day at the office. Richie cupping his ear in celebration to "his haters"

The game, however, was marred with a red card to rookie JODP after being on the pitch 3 minutes. After what looked like a kamura lock, a kick out and then raised arms he was dismissed a moment which has hit Heddon worse than conifer-gate!

Club committee will meet in the week to discuss how the club can progress from this bad situation they find themselves in JODP refused to comment and showed no remorse! 3 game ban, £90 fine and Heddons spot in the intertoto cup gone!

A cracking effort today against a good hexham side with the defence especially looking solid again today. With a pitch that was boggy and hardly inspired great footy, we played some nice stuff and battled well throughout and looked etremely dangerous on set plays.

Next up Adam and Eve. Another trip to the sticks.

Howay the Heed!
