Solihull Sporting 1 vs 2 Haunchwood Vixens

Haunchwood Vixens u12s travelled to Solihull Sporting to take on the Leagues leaders , having lost just one game all season the girls knew this was going to be a battle.

A superb first half defending well and creating plenty of chances on the counter , Birthday Girl Evie crashing one of the bar early doors , minutes later the Vixens took the lead with a neat finish from Connie , with the 2nd half barely underway a long throw into our box caused chaos and Solihull scored the equaliser , the Vixens kept their heads up and battled back into the game with Connie hitting the crossbar and catching them on the break numerous times , eventually so neat passing put Connie through and she slipped two defenders and slotted home , the drama was still not over as the hosts were given a penalty , Kayla stood strong to deny them the equaliser, with 10 minutes to go the girls dug deep and their resilience in defence carried them through to the whistle 2-1
