All subs got game time.

It was good to get back to playing football after a long break and even better to return with a win away from home.

There were no excuses for the playing surface, as todays game against Armadale was played on a newly laid 4G.

The boys did look a bit rusty to start with but soon picked up where they had left off in their last league game and took the lead when Milo calmly slotted home a shot from a corner.

Cameron J then got a double either side of half time. Both finishes were as a result of through passes from Tobie. The first being a left footed strike whilst holding off a defender and the second was a well taken chip over a diving Armadale keeper.

The Armadale goalie had a very good game preventing the score being higher, as the Haddy boys played some good football, creating a number of chances.

Armadale did get a late consolation through a soft penalty, meaning that the final score was a 1-3 win to Haddington.

A great win and we now look forward to next weeks league game against Edinburgh South.
