On Tuesday night we had a great result against Ancrum, one of our top rivals, with our league game at Meadowmill.

Drew opened the scoring with a goal from the tightest of angles and could easily went on to have had a hat trick, striking the bar twice.

Haddington continued to have all the pressure, with some superb interlinking play and the only thing lacking was the finish. Then up stepped Ryan with a back post finish from a cross to make it 2-0 at half-time.

Although there was a slow start to the second half the boys soon picked up and reverted back to the flowing football of the first. Milo was next on the score sheet taking the opportunity to eventually finish from a corner.

The best goal was saved to the end, with virtually the last kick of the ball, Adam struck from 25 yards out for a stunning goal.

A well deserved 4-0 win. We still have Ancrum to play in a cup semi-final and look forward to that game once a date is announced.
