A really worthwhile midweek run-out for the boys against a physical St Andrews side who showed good pace going forward and caused us problems from set pieces.
Felt we had the better of the play overall and took our goals well. Good to see four different scorers on the night, all coming from different areas of the pitch, showing that threat across the team.
As said to the boys, the scoreline wasn’t the priority. This was more about getting minutes in the legs and match sharpness, especially after recent postponements due to the weather. From that point of view, job done, lots of positives to take and valuable preparation ahead of our West Cup match this weekend.

Strong in the tackle as always, showed discipline positionally playing at right-back and later at centre mid. Read the danger early, stayed switched on and worked hard against strong opposition in the St Andys midfield.
