Some fantastic football on show today from the Panthers against a limited but committed opposition. After last year's positive Hampshire cup run we were keen to get up and running early on. We certainly did this by scoring in the first minute and we were relentless until the final whistle.

It would have been easy for our performance to descend into individualism but our patterns of play and team shape were impressive throughout. We are committed to playing fast moving possession based football and that is exactly what the boys delivered in a terrific display. We scored a variety of goals of different types with Elisha scoring four and Jamie M scoring five. It was also fantastic to see Luke and Nick bag their first goals of the season.

The performance was all about the team but there were some outstanding individual displays. Elisha has been brilliant this season and scored his normal hatful of goals but he created so many opportunities for his team mates today and led them with distinction.

Man of the match went to Jamie M for his tireless running and energy but also for his skill, decision making and finishing.

We roll on to the next round of the cup but well done to all of the boys today on a superb display.
