Greenfields Youth U13 Pant 7 vs 0 Bournemouth Youth Poppies

A mixture of emotions after today's game. The aim today was to try and play quicker and score from different situations than in previous games.

We were in high spirits to start the game, and our focus wasn't quite their which then plays out on the pitch, and we were lucky not to concede early on.

The goals started to come however, a first-time finish from Benji that might have taken a deflection, followed by 2 goals by Finn from corners which is great to see.

Noah then took his first brilliantly rounding the keeper with great skill followed by a rebound from a free kick. He finished with a hattrick goal from the edge of the area a great strike with his left foot... Elisha making it 7 after pushing into midfield with a great little pass from Nayan.

We did miss some glorious chances that would have given boys their first goals of the season, and if it wasn't for last minute tackles and goal line stops kept the score line down.

Fair play to Poppies who never gave up and had some new players that I have never seen before, who were gave us something to think about.
