Greenfield Youth FC U14 Pa 1 vs 3 Bournemouth Youth Poppies

A loss today against a Poppies dragons team that were better than us on the day. Our Intensity as a team was not quite there and also are passing was not at the standard it could be.

First half we hit the post and the ball went across the line with no one to finish we missed a couple of good chances to go 1 or 2 goals ahead but again didn't take them then we're hit with a double blow just before half time. 2 goals in a minute made our job much harder. Second half we just never really got going and were hit on the break to make it 3 and could of been more if not for Bennos saves.

We had chances but the Poppies players stood strong and kept making poor decisions.

However the goal we scored was fantastic one touch football that was finished by Jamie. If we only had done that more then the result would of been different.

The boys are far more vocal on the sidelines giving opinions about how the game was going which is great to see and hear. It is their game after all.

We go again next week in the Hampshire cup against a tough opposition.
