Greenfield Youth FC U14 Pa 4 vs 3 Bournemouth Youth Poppies

A very strange game today. A win is a win at the end of it but we made it very hard for ourselves. A good positive start gave us a few opportunities early on but as we have seen over recent weeks that we don't take chances then we can make it hard for ourselves.

Our goal came from Kians shot that has been given as an own goal but I will give it to him.

Poppies then scored on the break as we searched for a second.

Noah then scored a lovely second goal and Tom finished well to make it 3-1 at half time.

Second half was probably the poorest we have played in a while l, giving the ball away not atticipating second balls and not passing the ball and creating chances. A naive piece of defending gifted poppies a second and frustration was shown on and off the pitch.

The best piece of play gave us a 4th goal with Barney finishing off well into the far corner. More poor play gifted them a 3rd and only a goal line clearance from Olly made sure we grabbed the points.
