A strange performance from the boys. Complacency in the first 10 mins cost us the game. Sports had been awarded a penalty which they missed and 2 goals in the first 8 minutes saw us 2 -0 down before we even had got over the half way line. The boys rallied but we're very short of what is usually produce. Saying that Jamie scored before half time with a well taken goal that I hoped would kick us into life. It didn't and we found ourselves 3-1 down. Jamie added a second to close the gap and we were inches away from equalising in the dying moments where a touch was all that was needed.
To be close to getting a point without playing well proves what a good side they are, but they have to realise that all the other teams see us as a target to beat and it's the first time Sports have beaten us in 7 years.
Big shout out to Nick and Tom who came to the rescue even if they were not 100% which able us to field a full team.
Mom went to Jangles for his 2 more goals to make it 8 in 2 games
