Today was everything we expected it to be. Thoroughly enjoyed the first half. Especially against some of the talent on the other team, we held our own. We were hard to break down. We defended well and 0-0 at the break was superb. There were good chances for us too

Wholesale changes meant we’d not be able to keep that shape perfectly, but we did well, just switching off momentarily to allow a couple of daft goals. Finley with a couple of super saves in there too.

Harry Tilley with a chance at the back post too. Sam with a couple and Matty popping up with a cheeky goal too

I’m happy with today. Yeah we’d always like to win, but we’re stronger tomorrow because of today. We’ll keep playing stronger team to keep us strengthening.

I have never felt so convinced of our ability than I do this coming season. Big things are coming for the boys I can feel it
