We were basically playing the Stoke of Mid Sussex. When you're up against Wolverine at left back and Charlie Adam in the middle, you know not much football will be played.

Frow took the lead though after Lukaku guided in Smith's flick on from a corner, just 10 minutes in. He then doubled the scoreline after a great team move, resulting with Dawes squaring a pass for a simple finish. 

Apart from that it was mostly bollocks. As half time neared I asked Ollie Messi-Monnery if he was looking forward to getting the shit kicked out of him. He nodded.

The second half passed everyone by, so much so that I can't actually recall anything that happened. I even had time for some quiet reflection, realising I used to be captain of this great club.
