Inspire Athletic U14 Eagle 2 vs 1 Flitwick Eagles U14s Satur

With only 11 and 1 sub meant a tough game was on the cards against a physical team

First half we struggled to get out of our own half at times and inspire taking a chance got through the eagles defense to go one on one and after some great blocks a number of times managed to find the net

Defence worked well as a unit again Lewis was first class clearing the long balls and tracking back, boy can he throw a ball !

Midfield kept battling away to try to move the ball up the pitch, Ollie M and Calum fantastic today some fine foot work with tackles and long balls up to the attackers

Upfront Dom’s work rate superb today

Second half saw another master class in distribution from James and a left hand full stretch save keeping Eagles in the game

Jacob took a knock leaving eagles down to 10 but being a team player got back on the pitch to carry on

Everyone upped their gears in the second half and a good build up from eagles saw Dom finding the net with the assist from Joe leveling the score

Last minute goal from a corner gave Inspire the win

Some decisions didn’t go our way today but overall great play and more importantly the respect played with today out shone the opponent’s
