This could have been a potential banana-skin as the titans continued their relentless pursuit of the league leaders.

A 5 star performance (admittedly against weaker opposition) resulted in 4 goals either side of half time demonstrating the ruthlessness of this Titans side.

Cutting open the opposition at will using a combination of short passes, crosses and long balls, the opposition had no response to the Titans intricate footballing display. Only some last ditch heroic defending from their back line kept the score below double digits.

A memorable volley from Ethan (and potential goal of the season contender) will take plaudits as it set the scene for the remainder of the afternoon. Notable mention to Joaquin who scored in consecutive games, whilst also striking the crossbar twice with long range efforts. He continues to revel in his attacking midfield role.

This was a complete team performance with Ben and Joaquin sharing the MOTM honours. Despite a strong performance, DOTD fell to Ethan for ‘looking for cardboard in place of shin pads’, and being told several times ‘he was bringing the beers and still forgetting’ (although he did buy them just before the game).

Needless to say, tougher tests lie ahead, but this display will signal the teams intent to the league leaders.
