Trim Town 2nds 2 vs 5 Enfield Celtic 2nds

The 2nds were biting at the bit to get back to winning ways after a disappointing defeat the week previous after such a good run of form.

Things didn't go according to plan when the blues conceded an early goal when trim took there chance and put away a good goal by their number 8.

We didn't have to wait long for Enfield's reply though when our number 10 Remi capitalised on their keepers mistake when he fumbled a save from our free kick and slotted home and easy finish 2 yards out.

After the break Enfield couldn't really get going with some sloppy play and mistimed passes nearly letting Trim back in but a well worked team goal and finished by our top goal scorer remi changed things and the lads kicked on from there with Goals from Sean McRedmond, Slu zaka and not forgetting a stunning 25 yard take from our number 6 Charlie Jordan. Trim town did get a late conciliation goal but the blues saw the game out.

Still plenty to work on for the blues with a rematch against Parkceltic summerhill on the horizon this weekend, the boys will be looking to amended the defeat they suffered there the last time out.
