Enfield Celtic 2nds 3 vs 2 Kentstown rovers 2nds

The lads came in this game knowing that a win in this 90 minutes gives them a quarter final.

The lads started off very well controlling large protions of the game, but Kentstown still were dangerous on the counter putting our lads under pressure at times.

Some great interlinking play from back to front set Slu off on a run were he got taken down in the box with Ryan slotting home the penalty.

Another great bit of pressure the lads played a great ball from the left hand side and Remi got up high to slot the header into the far side of the keepers goal. The lads were in control but unfortunately just before half time a slip by our keeper let the Kentstown forward in to slot home a goal to make it 2 - 1.

Kentstown as expected came out fighting in the 2nd half and their forward slotted home a cool finish to make it 2 - 2.

Our 2nds never dropped the head though as they kept pushing for that winner. They did just that when substitute Chris Browne hit the assit of the season so far through the eye of a needle to leave it on a plate for Ryan to slot home his 2nd and our 3rd.

The lads now have a quarter final to look forward to.
