Man Utd Girls Academy 0 vs 3 Egerton FC u11

Another fixture against Man Utd Girls at their place. A game that was always going to be tough against a side who are very athletic, physical and can play football.

The first started tentatively with both sides working hard and cancelling each other out with chances few and far between. In the 29th minute, we found some space on the right with Jaxon scoring with a lovely finish with a passed shot with the outside of his right foot which curled in and went in off the post. Apparently that's called a travella finish. Well done.

First half 1-0.

Second half started much like the first. Man Utd worked hard and dominated possession at times but we defended very well and stopped all attacks with Arthur assured in goal handling crosses well and distribution top notch.

In the 44th minute Jenson found Jaxon free on the wing with a lofted pass who then lobbed a cross into the box that went through the keepers legs and fortunately for us trickled over the line making it 2-0.

Wilf who then came back on, scored in the last minute after Harry found him with a diagonal ball from the right back position. One on one with the keeper and he slotted it home.

3-0 it finished. Job done.
