Dragons Firsts 3 vs 0 TDMS FC Evesham

Dragons continued on against a young TDMS team who they had previously not played. Captain for the day was Adam Hinchcliffe

Dragons started off the game much the stronger team despite a strange kick off routine from Darren Wilsdon. Multiple chances were blocked and saved within the first 10 minutes for the dragons. Dragons took the lead after 10 minutes after a great cross from Ryan Beasley was met at the back post by Adam Hinchcliffe. A few more chances went a miss for the Dragons which meant TDMS grew into the game, this resulted in a good 1 on 1 save by Brett Danby just before half time. Half time score 1-0 Dragons.

Dragons started off the second half slowly after a short ball played out from defence led to a great block by Darren Wilsdon. This shook up dragons to react leading to some great build up play from Marty Meddings and Dion Mayhew for the latter assist Josh Barnet with a great flick into the far corner. Shortly after a Jack Pilling corner was met “Jaap Stam” like by Ryan Beasley to make it 3-0. The game petered out with Dragons managing the game well. One last chance fell for Dragons with Scott Danby who couldn’t convert from 1-1.

Great team performance made by all. Onwards to the cup against Bengeworth.
