Despite excellent preparations and a bumper crowd at Light Hall, Dickens Heath were unable to earn the 3 points that was needed to secure second place and promotion to Division 2.
Danny Bolan scored the only goal for Dickens Heath during a second half that could have seen Heath bag 2 or 3 on another day.
