In a commanding display, Delay Sports Berlin triumphed over SC Union-Südost with a resounding 4-1 victory in their league encounter held at Berlin on 6th April 2025. The match kicked off at 2:00 PM and saw a total of 128 spectators in attendance, all treated to an entertaining afternoon of football.

Delay Sports Berlin lined up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, which provided a solid defensive base while allowing for fluid attacking transitions. Frederik Mittelstädt took his place between the posts, shielded by a back four comprising Deniz-Kaan Hirik on the right, Michael Dada and Luca Incannova in central defence, and Alexander Letz on the left. The midfield duo of Sky-Vincent Tloczynski and Firat Sucsuz were tasked with controlling the centre of the park, while Dorian Fischer, Sidney Friede, and Tim Sulmer operated in advanced roles, supporting lone striker Pascal Brossmann.

The substitutes included Paul Beckmann, who would later be called upon to replace Hirik during the first half.

The match began with an explosive start as Delay Sports Berlin took the lead just one minute in. Sidney Friede found the back of the net, courtesy of a well-timed assist from Alexander Letz, sending the home crowd into raptures. The early goal set the tone for the match, and Delay continued to press their advantage.

In the 12th minute, the home side doubled their lead when Michael Dada scored, with Luca Incannova providing the assist. Dada's finish was clinical, showcasing Delay's attacking prowess. SC Union-Südost struggled to find their footing, and their frustration was evident as they received a yellow card in the 16th minute.

As the first half progressed, Delay's Deniz-Kaan Hirik received a yellow card in the 30th minute, a decision that added to the tension on the pitch. Just five minutes later, Hirik was substituted off for Paul Beckmann, as Delay sought to maintain their composure in defence.

The first half saw another yellow card issued to SC Union-Südost in the 42nd minute, followed by a yellow card for Luca Incannova in the 44th minute, further illustrating the physical nature of the contest. Just before the half-time whistle, SC Union-Südost managed to pull one back, scoring in the 45th minute to reduce the deficit to 2-1, leaving the match finely poised at the interval.

The second half commenced with Delay still in control, but the complexion of the game changed dramatically in the 57th minute when Luca Incannova received a second yellow card, resulting in a red card and leaving Delay with ten men. Despite this setback, the home side remained resolute and continued to create chances.

Delay Sports Berlin's determination paid off when they restored their two-goal cushion later in the half, eventually adding a fourth goal to their tally, sealing a comprehensive 4-1 victory. The match showcased Delay's attacking flair and resilience, even in the face of adversity, as they secured a vital three points in their league campaign.
