CTFC Yellows U11's 2 vs 3 Witton Albion Juniors U11

Same start to the game as the last couple of matches now. We looked lethargic at the start of the first half and found ourselves down by a goal before we really kicked it into gear. Lovely reflex goal from Jacob T saw us draw level. From there we had the perfect platform to really kick it into gear, not for want of trying we just didn't have our shooting boots today. Freddie D with another goal to his name and Marcelo with what could have been the winner chalked off for an earlier foul on him(no advantage Ref?) Saw it at 2 each with 2 minutes left on the clock, end to end stuff saw us just pipped to the post and a late goal sees the points head back with Witton on this occasion.

Special mention to Alfie who is growing in confidence week on week, dominating the middle of the pitch and showing the drive and desire that makes him a well deserved parents and coaches player of the day today.

The old cliche of "thats football folks" seems fitting again today. We started slow and were always chasing the game after that.
