Cowie were made to work hard again but made it 3 wins out of 3 and another clean sheet against Tarves today.

An even first half saw very few chances created for either side but Cowie took the lead right before half time when McDONALD collected a Gray through ball and ran through to beat the keeper.

Cowie then made an immediate impact Iin the 2nd half, scoring in the first minute when a corner ended in a goalmouth scramble and the defender cleared into the roof of his own net for an OG.

It was 3-0 10 minutes later when MANTAS intercepted a short back pass and rounded the keeper to score from a tight angle.

Tarves were reduced to 10 men in the 65th minute and Cowie comfortably seen out the rest of the game, Jarvie making an unbelievably one handed wonder save near the end to keep the clean sheet.

Another solid defensive performance against a tough opponent, take the 3 points and onto the midweek derby v St Laurence.
