A poor performance tonight means we go home with nothing. It was 1-0 after the first minute and could have easily been 2-0 after 5 before Kyle manages to equalise from a Badger corner kick and the game wasn’t even 10 mins in.

We were unlucky not to find ourselves 2-1 up just after the 20 minute mark when a Ross Young chance at the back post looked over the line, but the ref waved play on, then we shoot ourselves in the foot not long after when a well flighted corner was not defended well enough, 2-1.

Into the second half and we spurn a chance to equalise when TJ is brought down in the box and from the resulting penalty Mutly drags his shot wide. Things go from bad to worse when half time substitute Gazelle sees red for a deliberate swipe on the St Laurence striker. We tried in vain to find an equaliser with no joy as St Laurence were happy to defend and try to catch us on the counter. All in all, a really bad day at the office.

We’ll have to pick ourselves up for another tough away fixture in the league on Saturday at Alford.
