Back to winning ways this week with a comfortable win over St Laurence to go through to the 3rd round of the Scottish Cup.

In horrible conditions, Cowie took the lead after 15 minutes when Cozzy was through, the keeper saved and the rebound came off the St Laurence defender for an OG.

It was 2-0 after half an hour when Sam was brought down in the box after 5 Cruyff turns in a row, Cozzy took the penalty which was saved and McDONALD tapped in the rebound.

SALMOND made it 3-0 5 minutes later scoring from a low Duguid corner and Cowie made it 4-0 before half time when McDONALD turned the defender on the edge of the box and scored with a low shot into the corner.

Into the 2nd half and McDONALD completed his hat trick in the 50th minute to make it 5-0 when he controlled the ball on edge of the box and volleyed into the top corner.

With the game won the tempo dropped as the rain got worse but Cowie were still on top and could've added to the scoreline but St Laurence scored a consolation in the 90th minute.

A great first half performance in difficult conditions, onto the next round!
