It was a fourth loss on the bounce for the Cowie boys in a game where a point for both sides would have been a fair result.

The same story as recent weeks whereby we rue missed chances, on another day maybe would have seen us take all 3 points.

In the first 25 mins we had two headers from separate free kicks, by Buck and Ronan, the latter hitting the post. Then on 30 mins Lovick headed over from a corner when he should have done better. Our only other chance in the half came from a quick counter, straight from a Sportsmans corner, with Buck shooting straight at the visiting keeper.

In the end it was a slack pass out from the back by Chaz that was intercepted by the on rushing Sportsmans centre mid and he scored past stand in keeper Robbo with 25 mins to go.

Our only real chance in the second half was when Nicoll was one on one with the keeper, but he could only shoot straight at him.

Another disappointing result but we know on our day we can compete at the top end of the table.
