Another game versus Rothie, another 1 goal defeat, another game Cowie should’ve taken something from.

Cowie started well and had a couple of good chances in the first 15 minutes they should’ve scored from but soon found themselves 1-0 down when a ball in the box wasn’t cleared and Rothies striker scored.

The rest of the 1st half was even with chances for both teams but Rothie scored a 2nd in the 44th minute when Chin looked like he was clearly fouled at a corner and the ball was bundled home, but the ref never gave it.

Rothie made it 3-0 in the 60th minute and it looked like Cowie were completely out of it as Chin made a couple of great saves after this but credit to the lads they kept going and got a deserved goal back in the 75th minute when Buck was fouled in the box and LOVICK made no mistake from the spot.

They scored another soon after when a great ball into the box by Nicoll was turned in by a Rothie defender for 3-2.

Cowie tried to get an equaliser in the last 10 minutes but couldn’t create any real clear cut chances despite constant balls into the box.

A great effort from those that turned up despite the numerous hangovers! That leaves us with one home game left against Woodside on a date TBC.
