Rattrays XI 0 - 5 Cowie Thistle

Cowie made tough work of the first half but 4 second half goals turned it into a comfortable win tonight.

1st half was a tough watch as Rattrays defended deep and restricted Cowie to few chances and had the best chance themselves hitting the bar from a corner, but in first half injury time a long throw from Kyle was met by COOPS and he beat the keeper to head in.

Cowie started the 2nd half much better and scored two quick goals to effectively finish the game, the first in 53rd minute when McDONALD headed in from Kyle's cross and then 2 minutes later MUTLY beat a couple of defenders on the edge of the box and smashed it past the keeper.

CAMMY made it 4-0 ten minutes later, controlling Kyle's cross and flicking past the keeper.

There was time for Cowie to have their usual penalty miss, this time McDonald being denied by the keeper who made a good save in fairness, Ross put the rebound in but it was disallowed for an infringement.

Final goal came in the 70th minute when MCDONALD scored his 2nd of the game by shooting across the keeper into the bottom corner.

A great week with 3 league wins out of 3, 17 goals scored and 1 conceded, good momentum going into the NOS semi on Sunday against Kincorth
