A 4th straight win for Cowie today in a game that wasn't really as close as the scoreline suggests.

Cowie started the better and had a couple of half chances to score before IRV scored the opener on 15 minutes when he cut in from the right and beat the keeper at the near post.

It was 1-1 in 20 minutes when with nearly their first attack Colony scored from a penalty, awarded after a needless push from Cran.

Cowie then proceeded to miss chance after chance before half time hitting the post and bar twice each but it was still 1-1 at half time.

Into the second half and Colony took the lead on 62 minutes when a long ball wasn't dealt with and the striker had an easy task of scoring into an empty net.

It was hard to believe Cowie were 2-1 down but they soon equalised and scored 2 in 2 minutes when first from a long throw BUCK headed in at the front post and then a minute later made it 3-2 when another Valentine long throw was flapped at by the Colony keeper and GAZELLE scored from a couple of yards out

Cowie had more chances to make the game safe but didn't take any until the 85th minute when BUCK scored another header, this time from a Cran cross.

A comfortable enough victory and into the next round.
