Thorpe Rovers Youth F.C. U 2 vs 2 Costessey Jets (B)

Well done today against a strong Thorpe, a team who beat stoke last week which shows how far we have come.

A slow start, conceding early and struggling to get on the ball. This got better as the game went on culminating in the burst of goals at the start of the final third.

A great comeback game from Ryan, brilliant to see Lewis back on the pitch and overall a solid performance. Charlie got player of the week as a result of his assists and all round play as well as a strong performance last week too. But well done Billy for putting away two great goals.

I said I would be looking for how we press and win the ball back as a team, we have more work to do on this. If we can work hard to improve our defensive strengths throughout the team, together with our dangerous attacking play we will become a very good team.

Finally, I was very impressed with the togetherness and team spirit of the team today, welcoming back injured players, helping one another and cheering the team on when not playing....great attitude, keep it up.
