Costessey Jets (B) 3 vs 1 Drayton Youth F.C. U13

What a good start to the season, winning our first game 3-1.

Some strong performances all round, with some good passing moves playing out from the back like we have been practising, of particular note;

- Ryan clearing his lines well as a sweeper keeper

- Will & Sam playing midfield and defence well

- Luca who several times brought the ball out from the back with real strength

- Kenzie worked hard all game in different positions

- Noah brought great energy and attitude deserving his goal

- Preston bossed their defence scoring two

- Harrison paying well on both flanks and being picked as player of the week by Lee and Lisa

But, it’s a team game and everyone should be proud of their efforts, as a first game we couldn’t have wished for more.

For training this week we need to work on how we get back and defend as a unit as we were inviting them onto us too many times in the second half and creating / taking our chances as I think we could have had 10 today!

Really pleased with our start lads, well done.

As a reminder, we have training 6pm Wednesday and 5.30 Friday ready for Aylsham Amigos next week.
