In keeping with the continued improvement the whole team is making, another deserved win.

We started with the best 15 mins of football we have started all season and going 3-0 up, with two goals direct from corners...excellent.

Then we got complacent and stopped working hard, letting them back to 3-3. As I have said all season, it will be effort, attitude and application that wins this league and we have to work hard in every game. I’m convinced from the games so far we have the best players in the league, the most capable team, but it is focus, effort and teamwork which wins out.

We had a good half time discussion and you responded very well, showing some of the key strengths we will need to continue to win games: resilience, focus, self control. Well done.

So, whilst we made it difficult for ourselves, we should be proud that we scored 6 goals, we played some great attacking football and are now 5 unbeaten with back to back wins.

Well done everyone. A special mention to Preston who scored a hat trick, kenzie who scored 2 and played through injury, Justin for fantastic effort all game and Will for being player of the week.
