Attleborough Town F.C. U13 1 vs 7 Costessey Jets (B)

Well done today, in cold, windy conditions with a poor ball too. Another convincing win.

We started a little too complacent allowing them to come back at us. At this stage Sam made some good saves too, but as the game went on our football improved, the last 15 mins being fantastic attacking football.

At the back, Sam and Preston once again were leaders for us, organising and battling. In midfield we were getting the ball down and creating attacks with both Sam and Harry getting two assists today. All the attacking players scored again (Jack, Justin, billy, Charlie and Noah) that’s two weeks running, we have some dangerous players (well dangerous for the opposition!) scoring 16 goals in two games.

Our players of the week, which remember is training and the match was Alfie Lewis who did not put a foot wrong, battled against a strong attacker with some very strong defending and started many moves looking for pass and move opportunities with the midfield, well done Alfie.

Two matches next week, both winnable IF we start fast, keep the focus and play our football....brilliant stuff boys ??????
